All Natural, Additive Free: Omega-3 Rich Pet Foods

So you guys may know, we launched DayaPetFoodCo. last year. So we're a new, all natural, Australian owned & operated and nutritionally designed pet food company, along with Scientists & Vets, helping to shape all our formulas.
And we’re excited because we just re-launched our treats as supplemental meal/topper versions, so you can use all our foods as in between meals/snacks/ nutritional toppers as well as treats now!
And today, I’m going to talk a bit about our biggest seller: Delicious Sustainable Marine: Sardines with Boosted Omega-3 Superfoods that’s rapidly become a favourite!
Owners & puppies love it because Omega-3 is known to be amazing for brain development, behaviour, cardiovascular health, inflammatory reduction, joint health, arthritis prevention & pain relief, as well as coat & eye health. So this formula is great for young puppies & more mature doggies too.
But what people don’t know is that Omega-3 is also considered an essential nutrient! Brains are around 50-60% fat and Essential Fatty Acids like Omega-3, are among the most crucial molecules that determine your brain's integrity and ability to perform. Omega-3 cannot be synthesized by the body so it must be obtained from dietary sources.
1) And Sardines have Omega-3 in high amounts:
Sardines are now considered a ‘functional Food’ in their own right, heralded thus by a scientific review article in Clinical Nutrition, and it’s not just because of the Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids they contain, but also for their other valuable nutrients, which play a significant role in the prevention and treatment of cardio-metabolic diseases- (meaning heart & metabolism related- usually of sugars), including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hypertriglyceridaemia, and fatty liver disease prevention.
Omega-3 supplements are controversial in relation to truly reducing risks of cardiovascular events & over-fishing concerns effecting ocean health & eco systems significantly. While they can also be very costly for the consumer.
But sardines are a well-known, inexpensive source of Omega-3 and contain other nutrients, such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron, taurine, arginine, vitamins, minerals & amino acids which together reduce inflammation, cardiovascular disease risk and more.
2) Nannochloropsis microalgae:
The latest Super- wholefood, grown on eco farms by Sea02 Nanno in The Byron Bay/Ballina region of Australia. This microalgae is extremely rich in sustainable protein (50-60%), high in its unique vegan form of ultra-bioavailable EPA Omega 3 fatty acids, shown to further lower inflammation, pain, improve gut health while boosting brain health & protecting heart health. High in B vitamins, B12, iron & antioxidants lutein & zeaxanthin for eye health, coat health & chlorophyl for fresher breath and general odour prevention.
3) Chia seeds:
A super bone food; high in sustainable protein, very rich in essential vitamins and minerals, in particular bone health factors, behaviour calming Omega 3 fatty acids. Studies found chia can induce fullness, build muscle & bone, increase shiny coats, prevent chronic disease & decrease inflammatory obesity & fatty liver.
4) Purple Carrots:
Purple carrots are the original carrots from Afghanistan, said to have been genetically changed to orange for the European market. Purple carrots are high in super molecule anthocyanin, a powerful antioxidant, which is cardioprotective, good for weight stabilisation, cancer prevention, decreasing inflammation & boosting longevity.
