See Why We Were Featured in Brainz Magazine!!

Updated: Jul 22

So, some very cool stuffs been happening recently, our founder & CEO; Longevity Nutritionist Honor Tremain & winner of The Prestige Award earlier this year for Clinic of The Year QLD 2025, was asked to become an expert feature writer for Brainz Magazine, who are based in Sweden.

They were after the latest cutting-edge info from the science/health & wellness spheres- so she put forward the idea behind DAYA PET FOOD CO. and its key ingredients; one being the super rare, unique Australian microalgae we use- Nannochloropsis Oceanica, and we went from there.

NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR

We’re also super excited about announcing our new Brand Ambassador KODA the Dalmatian; a super beautiful, adorable, healthy, dog model who has been a loyal customer from the beginning.

Koda is living proof that good nutrition works wonders for your pup’s health and happiness!

Because our food helped her heal a split in Koda's ears;  Koda’s mum explains:

“The splits in KODA’s ears healed perfectly and literally we have not had any problems with it since she’s been snacking on the Daya treats/food. It used to be an ongoing problem for over 2 years, that no vet medication was helping, and now we’re on nothing other than using the Daya food, and it’s worked!

After struggling with ear issues for over two years, with no vet medication helping, Daya Pet Food has been a game-changer! Since switching to their treats and food, her ear has healed perfectly, and we haven’t had any problems since. We’re now relying solely on Daya, and it’s truly made a difference!" T.Franklin

Latest Pup recipe:

Bone Broth for Boosting Immunity on these Winter Days

1-2 kg of organic meat bones from a healthy source (organic, grass fed)

2 carrots, rinsed and chopped

2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tablespoon or more of sea salt

1 teaspoon of herbs or spices, such as ginger and turmeric, rosemary

2 cloves of garlic Filtered water

1 Roast any raw bones first. Place them in a roasting dish and roast for 30 minutes at 180 degrees (you can add pumpkin to this if you like). Or use left over already cooked bones from previous meals.

2 Place the cooked bones in a large saucepan.Pour (filtered) water over the bones until the saucepan is 3/4 full and add the vinegar. Let sit for 20-30 minutes in the water.

3 Add salt, spices and/or herbs.

4 On a high heat bring the broth to a boil with the lid on. Once it has reached boil, reduce to a low and simmer for 8-12 or more hours.

5 During the first few hours of simmering, you’ll notice impurities floating to the surface. Scoop these off with a big spoon and discard.

6 After 8-12 hours remove from heat and let cool slightly. Strain using a fine metal strainer to remove all the bone and vegetable parts.

7 When cooled, add the broth to your pups food or use in between meals to restore & build up health.

Store in a glass jar or bowl in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for later use.

Our brand is award winning for being full of healthy, whole-foods with the special use of longevity superfoods- which work by targeting any inflammatory concerns from itchy paws, ears, funny tummies, allergies, pain to calming anxious & badly behaved dogs.
